The idea for this summer lookbook came to me from several lookbooks I had been collecting as inspiration as well as the idea of mixing vintage items but have current fashion trends for styling. I had been collecting several different items ready to be styled together, all ranging from colorful patterns to solids that were also colorful. I didnt want it to be so cohesive to the point it looks like the same outfit worn by the same girl, but an eclectic mix of outfits and style choices. Summer is typically my favorite season for styling and lookbooks because theres more room for color and I typically gravitate towards those type of garments either way. So without further ado...

Summer is here but Fall is quickly approaching just as quickly as summer arrived. For this lookbook I was inspired by anything gothic & gypsy. Black lace, fringe, leather, shawls and anything with a touch of witchyness. I was also inspired by the mixture of baroque adornments with gothic pieces, so I added some little gold touches. The second part will be coming soon, and will be more extensive!.

A few weeks back I decided to shoot a summer lookbook, after a couple of years of not having done so or really, any updates. The idea behind it was a mixture of 60s and 70s... lots of colorful pieces & patterns with a 1960s mod quintessential makeup look. I shot it in foliage because it was the perfect backdrop for colorful 70s / 60s wardrobe. Was so excited to finally update and style from the pieces I had collected for a while that had been hanging in racks not seeing the light of day. Check it out in the shop!.
